		Preparing Your Graphics

	If you supply your design and graphics, we'll check your files to make sure your crop marks, folds, bleeds, and other specs are perfect. If we find a minor error, we'll fix it — free. After we're done checking your files, we'll Email you proofs in PDF form to make sure that everything is to your liking before we go to print. No matter what, you are in complete control of the process. If you’re not completely comfortable with designing your own graphics, you can choose to have IAMD design your project. Our staff of graphic designers combines award-winning creativity with expertise in package design. We review your materials and ideas and work from there to create a package design. At IAMD, whether it's your design or our design, it's our reputation. If you look your best then we look our best. To make that happen, please follow the following guidelines:

	Templates

To avoid wasting time, we recommend that you get our complete specifications and templates before beginning your design. These are available two ways:

Or
Call and ask your product specialist to mail you a disk or E-mail you the templates you need.

The design templates are essential for the smooth processing of your project. PC disks and files that do not use our templates need extra preparation. If you supply your graphics or any design work that is not on a IAMD design template, please add $75.00 to your package price, and atleasat three days to your turnaround time.


	Our supported design programs (PC Only) are: * Adobe Illustrator * Adobe PageMaker * Adobe Photoshop * Microsoft Word

We are constantly upgrading our hardware and software, so if you want to use a software program or supply files on media other than those listed, call your product IAMD product specialist to check on availability.

We accept Photoshop or Illustrator files for your images. We ask that you please leave all layers unlocked and available for our graphics team. Please do not flatten your files to a single layer. If we need to nudge your graphics left or right, we will be able to do this with a flattened file.


	Font Information


	Supply all fonts (plain, bold, italic, etc.) used in your design. PostScript fonts have both a printer file and a screen font file. True Type fonts have only one file. Failing to include a font file may cause a delay in your project.
